Only realistic chance for a more Democratic 1st district, honestly, is if they decide to place all of Boise in it. The eastern half of the city is where the Democrats live, which is currently in the 2nd.

According to RRH, this map has been agreed upon by both parties for the two CD's.  Yawn.

Idaho won't be interesting until it gets its third seat next time around and even then it is likely to be relatively boring.

I think it'd be even more boring with three seats... one for Boise, one going up the panhandle, and one for the east. It'll only be interesting if they get the third seat but still insist on splitting the Boise area between districts.
