First inauguration of Calvin Coolidge vs. Rotating spline

Thing A was actually pretty cool, so I'll take that, although having played SimCity "reticulating splines" means a lot to me.

Schwarzhorn (Grindelwald) vs. Manfred Schwartz

Think I have to go for random thing A. Switzerland is something very near to me & I don't care much for post-Romantic painters.

I pick the studio album (Attagirl is the seventh studio album by the Dutch band Bettie Serveert, released in 2006), over some tiny village in the far northwest tip of Scotland, which would have the climate from hell. It is against the law for the sun to come out in Western Scotland, except for one magical day when it did come out when I was there, at which time the frog turned into a prince, with verdant green hills rolling down into a the deep waters of the dark blue sea, punctuated by cute stone houses and demising walls (the walls have probably been there since the middle ages) here and there. But most of the time everything is the same color as the walls and houses - gray.

Müllerian eminence v. List of landmarks

While 'Müllerian eminence' is simply a great name for something, what it actually is is quite uninteresting.
'List of landmarks' seems to me a ridiculously wide topic for a wiki page, but I have to say, I found it took much more of my attention than Random Option A.

Option B

Santa Clara County Open Space Authority vs. Grandvillers

The former has a cooler name and appears to be a bit more important than a random village in northern France.

439 BC versus Miracle on Evergreen Terrace.

Old year is cooler than a Simpson's episode I haven't seen and which didn't seem to be that funny.

Both are unsettlingly boring, but I'll prefer the Children's book author over a random chemical formula.

It runs some very nice parks, too. Unfortunately there's no money.
