That was always a given (which is why the government held a vote in the Senate.) What matters is the Camera.

I'm being told by someone that despises the guy that he has it won. Should get the final tally any minute now.

314-311.

Someone said on Hessian radio earlier today that he'd been told in confidence by some opposition rep that they were pretty sure it would be 313-312 for Berlusconi.

I wonder how much did it cost Berlusconi. Moneywise, I mean.

Probably pennies compared to his fortune.  Tongue

Whether it's right or not, at this rate, the opposition should probably just wait until he leaves on his own. If Berlusconi wasn't beaten now, I don't see how it could ever happen.

Pathetic. Yet another pathetic display by Italian politics.
Last week Berlusconi decided to shut down the parliament so that he could convince enough representatives to vote for him. He succeeded, obviously moneywise he is more convincing than the opposition.
4 people who were elected with center-left parties (two from Di Pietro's,the most Anti-Berlusconi party in Italy) suddenly decided to change idea and vote FOR Berlusconi, not even to abstain (if they had,the no-confidence would have won).
I wonder how long this pathetic gov't will go on.

Gianfranco Fini and his cronies are useless pussies, and the PD continues its time-honoured tradition of getting the worst possible leader.

Last week Berlusconi decided to shut down the parliament

Steve Harpy will be proud! Somebody takes from his playbook!

Lol,stupid troll.

And Hashemite,it's not Bersani's fault anyway. I am not a huge supporter (I voted for Franceschini last year in the primary),but it's not his fault.

Elections are close anyway.

Bah.

But this was expected. He's not got long left now, regardless. Not compared to what he's had so far.

It's not his fault, but he's a lousy leader as far as I'm concerned.

Whoa, really? I never thought it was a majority. I thought it was very large Tongue, but not a majority.

Just looked it up. 60% of Argentines are of Italian descent. Learn something new everyday Grin
