Sanctions won't work and everyone in power knows it already and has since before they started. Like rolling thunder, it's for the masses.

We will not invade Iran. The war will be a masssive set of air strikes and a few commando raids. Primary objective- destroy nuclear program and military capabilities of the IRI utterly. Secondary objective- encourage popular anti-ayatollah uprising. Failure to achieve secondary objective unfortunate but acceptable.

Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani, second most powerful man in Iran: "If a day comes when the world of Islam is duly equipped with the arms Israel has in possession, the strategy of colonialism would face a stalemate because application of an atomic bomb would not leave any thing in Israel but the same thing would just produce damages in the Muslim world."

Something tells me that bombing Iran wouldn't go over very well with anyone.  Let the UN do it.  We don't have the money.

Iran will eventually gain a respectable government. We need to give it time.

We NEEDED to invade a country after Afganistan. I think Iraq was the best possible option. Iran would have been a very big mistake, and was simply not economical.

And you believe them?

Sure.  Anyone who says they will use nuclear weapons pre-emptively should be believed and dealt with appropriately.

Can you give me a quote?  I've never heard this before.  I still doubt they would actually use weapons, though.  If they did, their country would be destroyed.
