It could happen, I mean, we could be seeing the next Gary Hart. (Hopefully without an extramarital affair pl0x:P)

60% of Bennet voters said they were voting against Buck.

Bennet is odd. He's a darling of out of state Democrats, but really only has lukewarm support here.

They also obliterated that "Definition of a Person" nonsense. I guess they don't believe Obama is the Angel of Death.

Michael Bennet isn't Presidential material.  He's a nice guy, though.  Reminds me of Tim Kaine.

This victory was a triumph of the CO Democratic Party and its progressive left machine.  It's the best run state party in the nation.  Colorado is way too conservative to elect as many Dems as they do.

Meh, you never know.  They said the same thing about tons of former candidates and Presidents (Gore, Carter, Dole, LBJ, etc.)

Gore and Dole lost their elections. Carter was a one-termer and LBJ went down in disgrace.

But they still got to the GE didn't they?  And there's others, Coolidge for example.

The point is that anybody can be Presidential material if they simply run a campaign.Tongue

HP. He votes like a leftist, but talks like a moderate hero. He basically says a version of this all the time, "Look at how moderate and reasonable I am!"

<Change leftist to rightist> "Pot, meet kettle".
