STATEMENT

I have made this statement in private to several, but think it's important that I make it clear publicly.

I will not seek, and I will not accept, the nomination of any party to be a candidate for the up-coming At-Large Senate election.

I have decided to not be involved in electoral politics for this term, and will make more concrete plans over the coming months.

I will be taking an extended vacation until Monday 4 April.

I will be voting and will be available anytime I am required in my position of President of the UDL.

In response to some PM's I have received...

"I have been considering my political future in Atlasia. I do not plan to contest any elections for the foreseeable future, either in the Pacific region or at the national level. I have had need for a period of rest following diagnosis of a medical problem in January.

Once I am sure of my recovery, I will again look to serve the people of Atlasia"

I have extended my holiday until Monday 2 May - but I will be in a position then to make some announcements in relation to my political future.
