Our Last Set of Polls

It's hard to believe it's already time for this but it's time to start picking the states for PPP's final round of public polls for this cycle, which will be released from Thursday, October 28th to Monday, November 1st.

We're aiming to survey 18 states over the last week of the election.

12 of them are locks: Alaska, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

The final six we'll let you choose.

3 of them will be eastern time zone states and the other 3 will non-eastern time zones.

Here are your choices for the eastern time zone ones and voting will be open until Wednesday night:

-Connecticut
-Delaware
-Georgia
-Maine
-Maryland
-Massachusetts
-New Hampshire
-New York
-Rhode Island
-South Carolina
-Vermont

Vote away!

FYI: Kentucky and Texas will be in the next round of voting.

I want 4 races polled in the eastern timezone ... Tongue

Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island and South Carolina (but I could waive SC).

I already know what states I want fot the non-eastern region:

Oregon, Kentucky and Minnesota.

You missed Connecticut, which has up to two fairly tight races (Gov for sure, Senate too), as opposed to just one in all the states you listed.  It should be Connecticut, Rhode Island and Maine, if they can get reasonable CD results, otherwise Vermont.

Believe me, weŽll get tons of polls for CT by Rasmussen, Quinnipiac, Marist, SurveyUSA, University of CT, even ARGHHHH may join in.

I want some states that are not polled that often.

No movement ...

New Hampshire, Maine and Connecticut are very likely to be polled.

Updated map:

The states that are likely to be polled on the East coast are:

* Maine
* Connecticut
* New Hampshire

But @ DailyKos, people have voted for Arizona and New Hampshire to be polled, so PPP might not poll NH twice, but South Carolina instead if the Kos poll this weekend produces large leads for the Republicans.

They also replaced Wisconsin with Kentucky for the "definite final round of polling".

...

You can now also vote for the rest of the states:

-Arizona
-Arkansas
-Iowa
-Louisiana
-Minnesota
-New Mexico
-Oregon
-Texas
-Wisconsin

Currently Minnesota, Wisconsin and Texas are ahead.

I voted for Wisconsin of course.

Final map:

These 19/20 states will be polled in the next week.

People @ DailyKos wanted AZ and NH to be polled this weekend and people @ PPP also wanted NH to be polled. Therefore PPP will poll NH only twice if they find competetive races this weekend, otherwise they will poll SC.

The green dots indicate states that are already in the field this weekend.

YES! Finally, we get to see some polling here. Could care less about Arkansas, though. At what time are they going to be shown? I am very curious.

Rasmussen's release says 2pm Eastern for VT and 3pm for AR.

It's 2:45 AM in North Carolina and they're still planning on releasing six more tonight/in the morning plus the other ones they have to release tomorrow? When do these people plan on sleeping?

Now that IL is out, and WA will be next tonight.  Do they have anything else other than NC, NV, CA & FL to be released??

I guess not.
