Soda.

"Coke" would only refer cola (i.e., Coca-Cola, Pepsi, or RC).  I still can't comprehend how someone could refer to a lemon-lime soda (i.e., Sprite or 7-Up) as a "Coke".

I call it "pop" for comedic purposes sometimes, as do some of my friends... but I don't think I've ever met anyone who seriously called it that.

I call Coca-Cola Coke but I don't call any random soda coke. That just seems bizarre.

So I voted "soda" which is what everyone here calls it while engaging in normal conversation. This whole thing is very fascinating to me btw.

Pop is a ridiculous name.

Soda refers to soda water and the like, and if you apply it to this drink, you are strange.

Coke is the only acceptable name.
