I think wormyguy means that Edwards' campaign is basically futile at this point. The race is basically Kerry vs. Dean.

February 29th,

In a speech outside a hotel in New Orleans, John Edwards announced that he would be withdrawing from the race. Other than a win in South Carolina, Edward's had been slipping recently and appeared not to be coming back.

Polling nationwide the next day revealed a tight race between Kerry and Dean
Public Policy Polling
Kerry - 43%
Dean - 42%
undecided - 15%

Hypothetical match up polling

Bush vs Kerry

Bush vs Dean

Powell vs Kerry

Powell vs Dean

Just minutes after the California results were called, Powell announced that he would withdraw from the race beings that "There is no longer a realistic shot at beating the President in the primaries".

Dems:

Kerry - red, Dean yellow, Edwards - green, Clark - blue

GOP

Bush - blue, Powell - red

Must've hurt Powell losing his home state.

Why is Dean polling stronger than Kerry?

So, bush won 67-33 or 57-43 in ohio??

IMO, the election will be bush Vs. kerry =). But he will probably pick dean as his VP ^^
