Good lord, this one's actually tough. In the current realm of possibility, libertarians are unelectable in the public eye - but in a world where they were, and in a two-candidate race...

Best: Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Texas, Alaska, Oklahoma, Arizona, Kentucky, Montana, and I dare say New Hampshire.

Worst: Just name the ten most liberal states you can think of - the kind who wouldn't vote for anyone to the right of Chuck Schumer

Can't be assed with percentages ATM. Tongue

Best (excluding D.C., where you'd get 90%):
VT:65%
MA:63%
RI:62%
NY:61%
CT:60%
CA:59%
MD:59%
IL:58%
NJ:57%
WA:56%

Worst:
OK:31%
ID:33%
UT:34%
WY:35%
KS:37%
NE:38%
AR:39%
LA:40%
KY:41%
TN:42%

As a side note, I'm pro-life but support a liberal economic policy. I'm also tough on defense.

To be fair, I think I'd do better in AK and SD. Those states are more receptive to populist Democrats than to regular Democrats. Also, I'm not sure I'd do that well in the Northeast and West Coast due to my position on abortion, but I guess a lot of Democrats could hold their noses and vote for me.

You think I'd do exactly as well as I predicted Rochambeau to do, despite having some different positions?

I meant roughly the same, honestly. I know you'd do far better in the more liberal states.

It was just easier to quote you thank to think of new figures. Tongue

Skipped Rochambeau for some reeason, this was supposed to be about Libertas.

Not in any particular order:

Best:
Montana
Idaho
Nebraska
Wyoming
Oklahoma
Kentucky
Eh, New Hampshire?
North Dakota
South Dakota
Kansas

I basically just picked the states that would be most receptive to a kinda Ross Perot-ish libertarian candidate. Tongue

Worst?
DC
New York
Massachusetts
Rhode Island
Illinois
Maryland
Maine
Vermont
California
Connecticut (!)
Hawaii?

This seems about right for Oakvale, since his positions are close to a generic Democrat's.
