Does anyone here like Odd Future? They're apparently the Hot New Thing, but I haven't really been seeing the appeal. Mind you, I'm only tangentially aware of them courtesy of that time Steve Albini was on the same airport shuttle with hilarious results.

I'm jealous. The National are one of my favourite bands, combining a kind of grandiose gloom with enough wry self-awareness that they can actually pull it off.
