I've been listening to a lot of Progressive Metal lately. Dream Theater, Opeth, and Tool are my favorites.

Progressive metal is pretty cool, do you like Fates Warning? They're a great band.

yeah great "cover" of a poem. Anyway this album overall isn't that great but its still decent and its growing on me. I am going to see their concert in NYC in November.

I still prefer their last two albums, but Sabaton at least maintains a consistent level of quality.

I also listen to soundtracks of movies I love.  And Conan the Barbarian is one of them:

Obsessed with Emily King at the moment.

Look up Emily King - Can't Hold Me (Live at Apogee Studios) on YouTube.

(I don't have 20 posts yet lol)

John Zorn's pretty good. I do agree with King, though, that it seems more suited to a movie soundtrack.

I haven't heard Fates Warning, but Animals As Leaders is a recent discovery I love.

I like singer-songwriter Sarah Buxton. She is sexy! She wrote and originally recorded “Stupid Boy”, which became a major hit for Keith Urban.

Barns Courtney released a new acoustic EP which was surprisingly very well done. It's all original songs, so that is awesome. I mostly won't listen to stripped down versions of already existing songs.
