If I'm going to purchase music, I always get it on vinyl.

Am I the only one who thinks Lil' Wayne can create great rap lyrics? I mean you have to admit he does make great lyrics. Sure he's going downhill a bit but he still makes great music.

Great Lil' Wayne lyrics:

Going through intense personal problems, the light finally came back on for me listening to Grizzly Bear and Arcade Fire. Yeah, I am one of those pretentious douchebags. My tastes are incredibly varied though, I'm just a man who needs his indie/electronica/art pop sometimes (whether LCD Soundsystem or Neutral Milk Hotel or the Fleet Foxes).

Sounds like you have pretty good taste! Going to see Jeff Mangum in February actually.

I've been on a Big Black kick for the last few days

Steve Albini may be the best thing musically - if not the only good thing musically - to come out my university in the past thirty years. A shame 90% of the campus knows nothing about him!

I've been listening to The Execution of All Things by Rilo Kiley. It's the sort of thing I like a lot. The title track in particular is great.

Isn't it pretty awesome that the band includes Pinsky from Salute Your Shorts?

If you like Rilo Kiley you'll this. Remember when Weeds was a good show and had all the different artists doing the theme song? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWOIh4rI_Eo

G-Side breaking up was a dark moment in history. At least Kendrick Lamar and Future is there to console me.
