That negates the fact that you think Lady Gaga is better. Daft Punk is actually pretty entertaining, baring Kanye West using them to the bone. Lady Gaga is an embarrassment to music, and is just utter sh!t.

I'll do what Winston did.

  The Beatles - Wonderful.
  Radiohead - Great.
  Coldplay - Lousy.
  Muse - Awful.
  Kanye West - Fantastic.
  Rihanna - Generic.
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Bad at this point.
  Daft Punk - Great.
  Linkin Park - Terrible.
  Lady Gaga - Don't care.
Kings of Leon - Don't care.
  Eminem - Don't care.
  Metallica - Don't care.
  Nirvana - Decent.
Katy Perry - Don't care that she exists.
  The Killers - Meh.
  Gorillaz - Meh.
Pink Floyd - Not all that great.
Arcade Fire - Better than pretty much every other band on the list.
  Black Eyed Peas - Heh.
  Green Day - Ew.
  Queen - Twee.
System of a Down - Annoying.
The Rolling Stones - Very good indeed.
Foo Fighters - Not worth listening to.
  Michael Jackson - Don't care.
  Led Zeppelin - Meh.
  Arctic Monkeys - Pretty good.
  Paramore - No.
  Florence + the Machine - Half-decent.
  MGMT - Quite good.
  U2 - Not very good.
  Placebo - Don't care.
David Bowie - Mediocrity with flashes of brilliance.
Oasis - Mediocrity with flashes of awfulness.
  The Cure - *yawn*
  blink-182 - No.
30 Seconds to Mars - Jesus Christ.
Death Cab for Cutie - Never got into them.
Bob Dylan - Jesus Christ, Bob Dylan's below Blink-182? The planet is doomed.
  The xx - I don't get them. I should, on paper, but I don't.
  The White Stripes - Nah.
  AC/DC - Haha.
  Ke$ha - Haha.
  My Chemical Romance - ...
  Guns N' Roses - ...
The Smiths - I could easily go on for pages on how The Smiths are the most overrated band in the history of music and how we'll all be better off when the bloated form of Stephen Morrissey finally shuffles off the mortal coil, but I'll just say "not good".
The Doors - Actually, I take that back. The Doors are more overrated than The Smiths.
Massive Attack - Pretty good. Pretty, pretty, pretty, preeeet-aaaay good.
  The Strokes - No thanks.
Vampire Weekend - Flash in the pan.
  David Guetta - DAMN GIRL
  The Prodigy - Awesome, obviously.
  Weezer - I dislike them.
  Mode - ?
  Sufjan Stevens - Superb.
  The Offspring - Lame.
  Crystal Castles - *shrug*
  [unknown] - ...
  Rammstein - Seriously?
  Iron Maiden - No, seriously?
Phoenix - Okay. Not anything special, but enjoyable in an inoffensive kinda way.
  Pearl Jam - Ah... no.
  The Smashing Pumpkins - Christ.
Kid Cudi - Okay-ish, occasionally fantastic.
  Franz Ferdinand - Gone.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs - No no no.
Johnny Cash - Had a terrible mid-career lag, but put out some good stuff.
Bloc Party - Very good. Very good.
  The National - See above.
Snow Patrol - They make Coldplay's bland commercialism seem interesting.
Madonna - I don't much care what Madonna does these days. Or ever.
Jay-Z - How on earth is Jay-Z so low on this list?
Beck - Never really jumped on the Beck bandwagon.
  Regina Spektor - *shrug*
  Nine Inch Nails - I don't like.
  Slipknot - Heh.
  Interpol - Not helpful.
Belle and Sebastian - Leave me feeling cold.
  Pendulum - Not a fan.
  Modest Mouse - Uuuuugh.
  Moby - Not a problem.
  John Lennon - Good.
R.E.M. - Went from great to tragically awful very, very quickly.
Shakira - I'm not a child or a gay man.
Rage Against the Machine - Nor a skateboarding teenager with long hair and a Che Guvera t-shirt.
  Incubus - I'll pass.
Beyoncé - Relevant, at least. I don't bother, though.
Queens of the Stone Age - Sure.
Mumford & Sons - I'm not a fan of English folk. Never have been.
  Sigur Rós - Embarassing.
The Black Keys - Not interesting, not interested.
Glee Cast - That's just swell.
  Nickelback - *weeps*
  The Kooks - Bad.
  Rise Against - Bad.
Maroon 5 - Very, very bad, I remember.
Pixies - Overrated to an absurd degree. Not bad, mind you.
  Fall Out Boy - Terrible.
Britney Spears - Who cares any more? Do you? I don't.

Does anyone know if Bob Dylan's early stuff was ever repressed on vinyl? I'd like to get some of his albums in versions that haven't been sitting in someone's basement for over four decades.

What do you all think of this band? I just found them through an mp3 sampler from their label and absolutely love them. Unfortunately they broke up in September:

No I am not. Her songs are catchy. If you don't think that. So be it. But she manages to stay in the top ranks. And I do like her style. It takes some serious creativity to dress like that. Not saying I would. If I did I bet I would be dumped but none the less she has gotton far with good reason.

I find Dream Theater to be a moderately enjoyable Prog metal band.

Still not as good as Porcupine Tree though.Tongue
