Bleh. It feels grossly incomplete, but take a look anyway. It's really alt rock and industrial based at the moment, but hopefully I can work on getting some more prog rock and metal and stuff like that in there. I dunno. Feel free to make recs.

Why is punk, hardcore punk and crust there? Are they seriously arguing that HUSKER DU is metal? lolz

They're included as influences, just like hard rock, psychedelic, blues rock, grunge etc. And when I clicked on post-rock, I had another eargasm because Good Morning Captain was there. Bliss.

LOL. That is sooooooooooooooooooooo not metal. It's not even really post-rock either for that matter.

Well no, it's an 'influence' on metal. I think it's post-rock if we're using the strict definition, but I think of it as math rock

Went out to the GMEX tonight. Saw Funeral Party (emo/screamoish stuff... BRTD would approve.), Enter Shikari (Bunch of Yorkshiremen with metal guitars and drum n bass beats... mental) and 30 Seconds to Mars. Great night!

Just had to remove anyone who gave 'Power' by Kanye West over 3 stars from my friends list on RYM. Anyone who approves of a crappy rapper ruining an old prog rock classic doesn't deserve to have a music opinion.

Yeah, I've kinda faded in that regard.

They're okay, but much like the vaguely similar Sigur Ros I could never get into them that much.

I like some Sigur Ros, but an entire album is overkill for me. How bout Aphex Twin?

Fantastic band, Geddy Lee is one of the people that inspired me to start playing bass. I know a lot of people that are into Rush, including my World Cultures teacher, who is also British Tongue

Cheesy My favourite band, along with Boards of Canada.
