Eraserhead should be happy I just got a record from a band that formed before the 80s. Of course Mission of Burma were started in 1979 and the record is from 1981...

I wish I could've seen the Beach Boys when they came to my area but I heard that they really weren't that good. Sad  I say this as quite a big Beach Boys fan too.

Oh, and BTW, is there anyone here from my generation who has ever listened to (or for bonus points, played) vinyl records???  Or are you all asking me, "Dude, what's vinyl???"  I'm not some hippie or audiophile, but I was just curious, especially because I was born around the time that vinyl was declining.

What?

It's basically just youngs who buy records today, and olds are like "They still make those?" I should probably post a pic of my record collection one day. It's massive.

I've been listening to The Execution of All Things by Rilo Kiley. It's the sort of thing I like a lot. The title track in particular is great.

Isn't it pretty awesome that the band includes Pinsky from Salute Your Shorts?

Alas Xahar has probably never seen that show.

If you like Rilo Kiley you'll this. Remember when Weeds was a good show and had all the different artists doing the theme song? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWOIh4rI_Eo

We Are The In Crowd covers Brand New's Sic Transit Gloria...Glory Fades:

Personally, I love this cover.

That's a pretty weak cover of a great song. The music is basically the same, but the vocals are far worse.

Oh cool a modern metalcore band that actually sounds like 90s/early 00s metalcore and has no nu-metal or MySpace influence whatsoever, awesome! (I bet R2D2 hates them lol)

Also confirmed for Furnace Fest 2023!
