Not bad. Still quite competitive for Fisher.

Yes. And it is even better to have millions of dollars on-hand.

How come Rasmussen uses statisically insignificant changes in support levels to change their ratings of the race?

Rasmussen is still the only polling firm to show Portman in the lead since March of this year: https://uselectionatlas.org/POLLS/SENATE/2010/polls.php?fips=39&class=3

There was an article yesterday that said Democrats were worried about the Fisher campaign, in particular his hands-on style that doesn't lend itself to this kind of race.  That, and the huge fundraising disadvantage.

What I'm saying is this: the people in a position to know are a lot less confident about this race than the Democrats on this forum.

This race has shown back and forth numbers just like the OH governor race where each candidate has swiped leads. I think there might be some ticket splitting in alot of races this year even in OH were each party's candidate for governor and senate can win.

I read those stories the other day myself, and my confidence has dropped accordingly. Fisher needs to clamp down his organization and get his fundraising in gear pronto to have a chance here.

Of the non Rassy polls, Q and PPP had Fisher by 2 and UC/The Ohio Poll had Fisher by 1.

Rassy had it tied in June but has since released three more polls with a four or a five point Portman lead. Even if you factor out Rassy, this race is tied with one candidate that has almost $10 million and the other candidate with almost no millions. How do you think that will go once that $10 million is dumped post Labor Day?
