Carville would be fun, but he wouldn't want it, he apparently found it very frustrating working with Kerry and the non-Clintonistas within the Kerry/Edwards campaign team… he’ll probably go back to his political consultancy, but will probably do some pro-boneo work for the Democrats as he always has, and I’d expect him to be back again for 2008.

One of the guys from the old Clinton team might be an idea (not Bowles)… but who?

Now that would be cool Smiley …just can’t see him as the touchy-felt type but he’d certainly be a useful person for the Dems to consult and try and recast them on the social issues side of things ditto Philp Gould will no doubt be Washington bound this Christmas and after the general election next year I wouldn’t be surprised if he continues working with the likes of Greenberg and Carville within the DNC.
