Condi is leaving for the NFL.  Seriously, she wants to be the commish in the NFL, and I hope they give it to her.

I think Rudy gets Homeland Security.  He and Bush agree on how to deal with that department.

The word is that Mineta will be leaving and that Elaine Chao will move to DOT.

A plus to Bush appointing Lieberman to the cabinet is that he will be replaced by someone chosen by Conn.'s Republican Governor.

The most realistic position for Lieberman is Attorney General, which I think would likely go to Rudy Giuliani.

He'd be a pretty good choice, but his rhetoric was pretty venomous during the campaign.  I don't see Bush just brushing that off.

Seems conventional wisdom is that Powell and Rumsfeld will stay on until at least after the elections in Iraq. Word has that Rice would love DOD but not so much State. I heard Ashcroft announced he's leaving today. Giuliani would be an interesting choice for Justice...or Homeland Security.

Al Gonzales has apparently been named for AG. He's the current White House Counsel.
