For the record, Barack Obama is our first Generation X President. Usually Generation X is counted as beginning in 1961 and ending in 1981. Obama was born (narrowly) as a GenXer in August 1961.

That's debatable. The length of generations is ill-defined, and some consider the Baby Boom generation to have ended in 1964.

Three or four is my guess. I doubt that we will have five baby boomer presidents. If Obama is defeated in 2012, we will probably have another Boomer as president, and if he wins, chances of another Boomer becoming president drops. If a Democrat is elected in 2016, then it may be a Boomer, since most of the current crop of Democratic candidates that wish to succeed Obama (Cuomo, Warner, some others) are Boomers. The GOP, however, have a whole stable of candidates emerging that could run in 2016 or 2020 that are not Boomers, with Jindal and Rubio being the most prominent.
