Let me clarify that. If someone is an American citizen, then he/she fits into these generation labels. If someone is not an American citizen, then they do not fit into these generation labels unless they move to the U.S.

I disagree, they fit a lot of Western countries (having all been shaped by the wars and the subsequent baby boom, for instance).
