If only Ras could control who votes. Anyway, in Ras' last poll, the candidates were even. After watching Marshall in the Dem debate for about 25 minutes, I am not worried about this seat at all. She's unelectable - period. She liberal, speaks in liberal cliches, not very bright, shrewish, and looks like a school marm.

The only poll he shows favorable to the Dems is California. I don't think he is an objective pollster.

Gee, just because the polls don't adhere to your political leanings doesn't mean they aren't objective. Both Ras and PPP showed Burr leading significantly with only marginal differences between them both in terms of actual results

No, he doesn't add third party candidates to his polls and no ppp has it a five pt lead add independent candidate to rassmussen it equals PPP margin.

Are you capable of forming a coherent thought before you type?

2010 isn't an "objective" year.

Besides 10 points to the third party candidate seems way too high in the PPP poll. Although to be fair in my criticism  I really haven't followed the NC Senatorial race that closely.

Marshall would be the next Bev Perdue. If NC elects her, well, they will get what they deserve. I don't feel bad for them that their state is in the doldrums after electing Perdue either. I saw that one coming from a mile away. Oh, and I still don't understand how these results are so surprising. The I candidate will not get 10% in a state like NC, and Marshall is very weak and it isn't a Democratic year. I suspect the lead will shrink and Burr will win by 5-10% max, but I just don't think it will be in doubt.

In other news, my congressional internship for next summer is still alive and well if this holds.

Well, I guess there's some silver lining here then. Wink

Would you like to make that a combo meal and add a side order grain of salt to this poll?

In all seriousness, Rasmussen is either going to be completely discredited or clearly the most accurate pollster in the history of election cycles come November.
