Oh, shut up. Is it physically impossible for people to comprehend how tiring it is when certain Democrats bash Rasmussen for no credible reason? Even whenever he, say, puts up a poll that has one of their candidates leading by a massive margin(see Schumer)? They look for any excuse whatsoever to attack him. They take any opening, no matter how nonsensical. Furthermore, I say it again - SOMEONE ACTUALLY SUGGESTED WE REMOVE RASMUSSEN FROM THE POLLING DATABASE. That bears repeating again and again because it was one of the most tragically stupid things I've ever seen.

A 172 to -28 margin isn't possible. I can't imagine someone would actually believe that it should be that way though.

He was failing at being a smartass. I would have made no such comment.

Why isn't Inouye ahead more? He should be at least at 75%. PPP should do Hawaii soon (esp. to see Djou).

Yeah. This guy:

I'm pretty sure that if your campaign website is a Blogspot page, your campaign isn't going to do much.

No, your "in before Dems say it's biased!" crap that you spew constantly doesn't bear repeating. It's just as annoying as the aforementioned "Dem hacks" (why don't you just call them out by name?). You really don't get it, do you? You're doing exactly the same thing as the people you're decrying, bleating out the same tired line over and over. Congratulations, you're a douchebag. Maybe you should look in the mirror before you tell someone to shut up.

You're kidding, right?  8% are undecided and 3% prefer someone else.  Both numbers are plausible this far out.  If the Republican is polling at 20% (which is also realistic), how can Inouye end up above 70% in the poll?  There will be undecideds in any poll before election day, which will cut into the overall numbers.

To me, the real question is: Will Inouye break Byrd's record?

Which one? Inouye just has to live for another four years to break Byrd's record of the longest-serving Senator, but to be the longest-serving member of Congress, he's got 10 years to go, at which point he'd be 95.

Who was the last Senator to be elected using the number 4 to mean the word "for" in their website URL?

Both seem very possible.

I think you're forgetting that Inouye served in the House from 1959 to 1963. He only needs six more years to become the longest-serving member of Congress ever.

But of course Inouye is still four years behind Dingell.
