I was looking at some of the election results on this site and noticed that Betty White (I assume the actress, but if not oh well) received 00.17% of the vote in the 1990 Arkansas Senatorial Election.
Why don't states release more of the write in results? Are they too lazy to count them up? I read somewhere that in 2004 there was a spike in Bill Clinton votes and of course Lincoln Chafee wrote in Bush 41 that year.
I think all ballots should have a write-in option and/or a None Of The Above line.
