I'm a strong supporter of running Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico in 2008. I think his Hispanic origins would help in states like Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Florida. Although he has a big of baggage from the Los Alamos incident, I doubt that would come into play much.

However, I have two questions.

1. Who would make a good Veep? I thought Bayh at first, but my campaign sign isn't working out. Bayh is too short. That got me to thinking whether there is a better option.

2. Any reason not to run Richardson?

The biggest problem with Richardson is his speaking ability -- he can get the words out fine, but he has an absolutely dreadful voice. I can't stand listening to the guy for more than 2 minutes.

I couldn't stand listening to George W. Bush for more than 2 minutes, but he seemed to do fine. Smiley

Personally, I think that Richardson would be a good choice.  I'm not sure if it's the best (and if not, I'm not sure what the best would be), but it certainly wouldn't be a bad choice.

I'd definatly vote for Richardson/Bayh....as long as they weren't up against McCain or Giuliani...
