Let's assume opebo moves to South Carolina. Greene finally withdraws, and the SC Democratic Party chooses opebo as the replacement candidate. Would he do better or worse in November than what Greene will do?

It depends how much stuff the GOP bothers to drag out on him. He'd do great in the debates if they actually had any though.

It'd be cool to see him slap DeMint down on issue after issue.  DeMint's face would probably look like Bush's during the first '04 debate with Kerry.

Probably worse. I am not sure blacks would turn out much to vote for a guy who lived in Thailand until he decided to carpet bag to SC with his Yankee accent to boot (he can't even say "Missoura" right cuz he is from the exurbs of St. Louis), off a small trust fund stipend (now supplemented by a teaching job), who likes to bang reasonably priced hookers several times a week (at my age, I go more for the quality rather than the quantity, and when I was Opebo's age, sadly I just didn't have my priorities straight). But hey, I would vote for Opebo over DeMint. But I don't live in SC, and am a bit of an odd duck myself.

And all of this assumes nobody finds his huge repertoire of "bad place" posts.

Charlie baby loved war however, and was a swash buckling macho type with an East Texas accent. And I am not sure he bragged about his trysts 24/7.

Eh moot now because Wilson's district doesn't really exist anymore (the current 8th is probably the closest one to it, but Tom DeLay arranged for the area to no longer elect any Democrat by making sure all districts in it extend to the Houston exurbs. How much I hate that guy.)

For f**k's sake Mr. 42.480 posts per day ("blah blah I'm going to reduce my post count and make less pointless posts even though it has yet to drop at all since I started promising that"), you haven't been paying attention. I"ve been making opebo polls for years at a fairly consistent rate. opebo is the most interesting guy on the forum, and you and officepark whining are not going to change that. If you don't like them, you are free to ignore them just like how every day I ignore the vast majority of the 42+ posts you make which consist almost exclusively of unfunny inside jokes or spam of one sentence if even that.
