The Denver Post has hired SUSA to do polls for them ?

Nice. Let`s hope we see more of these in the coming months.

As for the race, there cannot be said much about it at this point, Bennet is doing better among Democrats than Buck is doing with Republicans. Both do about equally well with Indies.

So it will come down to turnout and motivation and if this is true, then in case of doubt I think Buck will narrowly take the seat from Bennet.

Well I guess we can add Norton to the list of teabagger casualties. How many is that? Specter, Bennett, Crist, Lowden, Campbell, probably some House prospective nominees.

It's a shame.
What even more of a shame, is that they dislike the establishment candidates, but then the establishment tea party picks a candidate and everyone just supports them. What a heard.

I love the idea that somehow Rubio is some type of anti-establishment candidate.

Interesting.  This and the Gov poll basically echo Rasmussen.

Specter wasn't teabagged. He was Democrat'd. Neither was Campbell, he was just Rich Idioted.

This is one of the Tea Party casualties I'm actually quite pleased about. Norton is both establishment and utterly robotic, and Buck is surprisingly intelligent, given. This is actually a win for Colorado.

Eh, it's not like Norton is doing considerably better than Buck in the general polls.

The only thing they lose with Norton is experience, which might have been useful considering Michael Bennet's career prior to being appointed Senator was relatively eh.

I suppose Buck has the advantage of never having served in Bush's cabinet.

I beleive you are confusing the two Nortons, Gale and Jane are two different people.

That talk radio partisan hack, Hugh Hewitt (who flogged for Romney to death in the 2008 primary season to the bitter end having written a book about him which he hoped would sell a bunch if Romney become the nominee) was bitching about this poll today on his show because it had Norton losing (his favorite candidate), complaining that it had 59% of the GOP primary voters being male, and thus it was phony, and cooked, and without the phony  testosterone boost, Norton would be ahead. Well first of all it is 57% male, not 59%, second Norton is losing among women as well (albeit by a smaller percentage, 3%), and third hasn't he heard of the partisan gender gap, and that it is to be expected that GOP primary voters would tend to be more male (in the Dem primary in this poll it is 51% female)?

As I said, Hewitt is a hack, and either just doesn't know better, or if he does, it certainly does not slow him down from his irresistible impulse to spin.

Jane Norton is the best candidate in the race and should be nominated over Buck.
