No one will challenge him. If he were white, Hillary might have considered it if he dropped into the low 30s, but the racial angle makes it impossible. She is the favorite for the nomination 2016 lose or win in 2012, but 2012 is a simple loss. If she loses, she has burnt a ton of bridges. If she wins, well, blacks will stay home in the general, and she will be just as much of a persona non grata.

For anyone else, the 2016 calculation may be different, but the 2012 one is the same. No Democrats can win the primaries and not lose the general.
