I don't approve of him right now, but I strongly disapprove of the teabagging alternative being presented to me.  I hate this alternative as it seems to be a policy of "just be really angry about stuff."

I have yet to hear any tangible idea come from the Republicans on how to fix our country and I'm not going to trust them again that easily--so I'm forced to like Obama for the time being.

Listen folks, I'd just like to remind everyone - we have a 'black' president who doesn't hide the fact that he's able to think a bit.  True, no intellectual, but a person who seems out of of the closet about being a sentient.  Lets try to appreciate what we have by remembering what went before.  We're very, very fortunate - even if it doesn't make a huge difference in the daily lived of we peons, we don't have to be quite so embarrassed as we have been most of the last 30 years.

dude he over halled our student loan system and put it back into the hands of the federal government which is something that you wanted to get done. Secondly only a jack*ss would have disagreed with the stimulus(yes there were flaws,but its what we got). lol you hate obama so much that it is actually somewhat humorous.

Also, there was that recent healthcare bill. Sure it's been watered down a lot but it's still better than nothing. At least people with pre-existing conditions can now buy insurance at a resonable price and young people up to age 26 can retain their parents' insurance plans instead of having to buy their own.
