If Bush can win all the states he did in 2000, plus New Mexico, Vermont, The Northwest and Iowa, it would be a slight landslide. Plus, California would add alot of spunk.

States such as Washington, Vermont and California just will not vote for Bush...Oregon potentially but even there I would say the Dems have a strong advantage...having said that this time around I would say that Bush has advantages in tow "Gore states" NM and IA while Kerry has advantages in NH and OH and perhaps WV but these advantages in OH and WV are not as solid as Bush's in NM and IA IMHO...

I think Kerry is ahead in Iowa, but that will be really close. NM and Nevada will be aligned together in this election.

Bush is extremely unpopular in Kentucky. I'm not expecting him to lose it though, since the corrupt Republican county bosses like to rig elections.

There was a Survey USA poll of Kentucky taken a couple of weeks ago showing bush up 15 or 16 pts.  Maybe it was rigged.

Obviously it was, since everyone hates him so much.

If this is one of his better states, then I can't imagine how much people in other states hate him.

Something to ponder:

If someone who will probably stay home in protest is questioned concerning for which candidate they will vote, that person will most likely say Bush even if they do not plan to vote for Bush, simply because when voiced their idea of a protest no-vote sounds childish.

When I say "everyone", I mean "everyone".

On the other hand, when Brit Hume says "everyone" agrees poverty is declining, his definition of "everyone" is his rightist punditocracy in the media.

Poverty will start to decline when people wise up to the nature of information age capitalism and pull themselves up by their proverbial bootstraps.

Here's a best case scenario: Bush gets impeached and removed from office.

Yea, Bush can lie about WMDs, resulting in 500= American deaths.  It's fine.  Don't you be unpatriotic now, listen to our leader!  Support our troops!

Clinton finally snaps after 25+ years with Hilary and gets him some.  IMPEACH!  IMPEACH!  Your a disagrce to the world!

Dennis Hastert and Bill Frist would never allow it.

Oh, so that's why we elected a governor with close ties to Bush there.  You are calling Kentucky Republicans currupt?  HA!  You probably right though, if the Republicans were rigging elections there, then Bush would probably have no chance there and there wouldn't be a single Republican in congress.  By the way, I'm being VERY sarcastic.

And when I say that you are an extremist wacko who's common sense has been clouded by you extreme left-wing ideology, I think everyone will probably aggree with me.

Actually I've seen some polling that shows the former Democratic Governor gave the GOP the race, not Bush.  If there had been no scandal, the Dems would have won 56-42

So was Clinton lying about WMD, too?  Shouldn't he have been impeached for bombing that office building in Bagdad in the middle of the night, killing the janitorian staff?  Or how about when he bombed that asprin factory in the Sudan.  Or the Chinese embassy in Yugoslavia?

Nope
If you think that then you don't see how entrenched Liberalism is becoming in MD and NJ.  Even if Osama is caught, Kerry will win MD and NJ with 60%.

All you have to do is win Baltimore and Montgomery County to win MD. All the rest of the state has common sense.

PG and Howard have gone hard to the left as well.  Baltimore City & County, Howard County, Montgomery County, and Prince George's County will go to the Dems with 70%-90% canceling the 55% win by Bush everywhere else.

On Kerry's map add Georgia, SD, and Kansas.

On Bush's map add Connecticut and take Vermont away.

What??? I mean, perhaps Georgia, but South Dakota and Kansas??? When hell breaks loose!

I find it very unlikely that Bush will get California, Oregon, or washington.

The Democrats win Baltimore County because of "White Flight". Howard, Nont and P.G. because they surround D.C. but the more rural areas like Washington, Cecil, Harford, Talbot go Republican. I grew up in Balto. Cnty and Harford Cnty.

Baltimore County, along with adjoining Howard and Anne Arundel counties, are the swing areas of Maryland.  They voted hard for Ehrlich for Gov in 2002, and voted against Glendening in the '90s, so they are not reliably Democratic.  Nevertheless, a Dem can win statewide by winning only the liberal strongholds of Montgomery, Prince George's and Balt. City.  All of the counties in Western MD and the Easter Shore usually vote Republican, but their population is insignificant.

That's why I left. I have seen what so many years of Democrats running the place has done to it. Turned Baltimore into a dump.
