2 Very different views about the same song.......

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4D1HSL7P98

Ha, I just came across it. I had heard it in strip clubs quite frequently and I was kind of wondering about it at times.

I remember it from earlier because of Beavis and Butthead. I think they actually liked it even though they normally hated music like this.

I have the CD.  Played this song during our wedding reception.

Who is interested in being my running mate?

Hm, let't think which of the retarded posters (yes, sadly there are ones) might be your ideal RM...

I was thinking of picking Libertas.

Read thread for context:

Obama uses the Tsar system if by Tsar you mean Czar. It's because he doesn't agree with a constitutional government like we have. We elected the enemy.

lol. Read the post itself.

That sounds alot like how Obama does things.

On Barney the Dinosaur:

He creeped me out and I would have nightmares that he would come into my room naked and beat me up while I was sleeping.

Yes no kidding it wasn't a large number of Jews in Egypt or Hebrews in this case. It was a small percentage but nonetheless influential due to the fact we are talking about it today. No kidding about the 2 million as I have been saying. The fact that we have records says something. You and your boyfriend seem to be arguing that somebody simply made it all up. That's deep, they just made it up, right.

I've desperingly researched a kind of logic in that post.

He is a hero and it's not his fault if Obama wants to fight a war based on a Rolling Stone magazine. However, if you're in the military you talk to no one other than talk radio and Fox News. That should be a given.

"Mikado doesn't have any opinions" indeed, Torie!  That's a real throw of the gauntlet, Sir Lawyer.  I challenge you to a debate on the real issues (the real issues being forum moderation policy and 19th-century literature and music)

Hey Grumps, how can you say you agree more with The Mikado than the horny lawyer? Mikado doesn't have any opinions (well at least not on anything that matters, unless you think things like operettas or HoffmanJohn matter)!  Tongue

Yes, but he likes booze and women too, though his character flaw does seem to be he doesn't smoke pot......but no matter, the Mikado is rigid, inflexible, stubborn, and blunt in the few views he espouses.......all excellent qualities Wink Tongue

As a consolation prize, we'll go drinking if you can make your way to western PA someday Tongue

Actually what he says makes perfect sense.

He would make a fine president and is exactly what the founding fathers envisioned.

I doubt the founders ever intended for a former cokehead Mormon to be President.

Gotta love Blubb sometimes.

I know this was typed in this thread, but let's face it, it's humourous enough to be an entry in it's own right, and had it been typed in any other thread would surely have been quoted here by now.

Darth Vader said that in Empire Strikes Back. I always knew Obama was on the dark side.

Derek was responding not to what he actually quoted, but to Lunar's current signature.

"Oh, I"m a Pacific storm and I'm okay
I look real mean but there ain't no land in the way!
I'm only interesting to nuts and shipping lanes
the open ocean will get all my rains"

"Oh, I'm an Atlantic storm and I really suck
I'll get all strong and with your life I'll f**k
Even if I'm weak I'll dump tons of rain
with your city under water only then will I refrain."

Wow I have way too much time on my hands.

(sung to the tune of "oh I'm a lumberjack and I'm okay")

Apparently the mods deleted it before I could post it here, so I had to PM useful idiot to get the full text.

It was with Rochambeau's mom. We were working on a kibbutz together in Eretz Israel. One day Bibi Netanyahu came through town campaigning. She turned to me and said "Oy, I'm so wet right now, I just want to kill those little Arab kids so bad, almost as bad as I want to jump you". She wasn't a good looking woman, but there was a way that her frizzy hair and oversized nose twinkled under the desert moonlight. We sneaked into Morty Rubenstein's room, where things started to get hot and heavy. We lit the menorah and I whispered sweet nothings into her ear, talking about removing little Palestinian kids from their homes, and eventually getting really dirty when I moved to talk of my dreams of becoming an accountant or a dermatologist. She lathered herself in hummus which she wanted licked off of her quivering body. Eventually her acid reflux kicked in and she started complaining about every little thing in the world, from her mother to the weather to how salty the gefilte fish was that we had the previous afternoon. We didn't get to make love that night, but my menorah candle still burns as brightly as it ever did for her....

It's still eerie thinking of a big naked purple dinosaur coming into my room to beat me up while I'm sleeping though.
