The most charismatic I've seen are JFK and Reagan.

See I think that without his teleprompter he stutters and sounds boring. There are also times where he goes too far and appears like an angry man.

RFK. I find there are a lot of things I like and dislike about the man but damn could he win over a crowd. Even when watching videos of him campaign, years later, I got the urge to go out and vote for him.

I think we're all forgetting Theodore Roosevelt who had his own "bully!" charisma.

I remember Teddy Roosevelt. I just think JFK has more charisma.

I remember Teddy too! I was even there for one of his speeches:

Bush was far from charasmatic, an average speaker, but he was very likeable. Probabaly one of the most likeable politicians I have ever seen.

Bush is a prick. Not "likeable" at all.

The Kennedys, Reagan, Both Roosevelts, Bryan, Obama, Clinton.

Probably in that order or near it. No one else comes close to these individuals in the charisma department.

I'm telling the truth. When is the last time the GOP did something signifcant for blacks and gays? 1965? Also, when has the GOP been strongly supportive of science or scientific research that is not realted to outer space?

Given the Dem's evident strong preference for teachers' unions (primarily composed of wealthy, educated whites) over poor black schoolchildren, and also their preference for the concerns of unions in general and the environmental movement (both of which are a good deal whiter than the general population) over decreasing black employment, I think we have to say that the Democrats are not quite deserving of the strong support they receive from at least one race. Also, the GOP seems to like research when it's weapons-related. Of course, research isn't really the government's job.

I don't get why Eisenhower is rated so low, and why people are actually putting Nixon above him.  Eisenhower's likeability was one of his best assets.

I think Ike was much more charismatic than Nixon.
