Watergate never occurs. Thus, once Agnew resigns, Nixon picks John Connally to replace him as VP. The GOP nominates Connally in 1976, who picks Nelson Rockefeller in an effort to appeal to moderates. The Democrats still nominate Carter due to his well executed campaign after studying the new primary rules really well. Carter still picks Mondale as VP. Everything else stays the same. How would this election turn out? Discuss, with maps.
