Kerry made a bad VP pick, it didn't cost him the election per se but it was a net negative. Gore also made a bad pick in Lieberman, he should've gone with Kerry in 2000.

Gore did everything possible to screw up a layup victory in 2000, but I guess it worked out for him in the end, he's probably worth more than Romney now > $200M.

lulz, no ... Despite the abortion kabuki, Dembots hate women, and Kerry wouldn't have considered upsetting the all boiz club.  See, 2008 Dem coronation.

John Kerry was a bad candidate, no amount of female could help him bounce back.

Kerry's problem was himself, not his running mate.

Exactly, if 2012's Kerry had been running against Bush, we'd never have had this board. He was too wispy washy and weak. He ever through Bush's attacks back at him like Howard Dean would've.

No. For every female voter Kerry would pick up, he'd lose a male voter. That's how this game works. People, despite what you may think, are surprisingly anti-woman. And many of those people don't even realize it.

On the whole, Kerry probably would have taken a very mild hit for trying a "gimmick."
