I probably wouldn't send him to one of those gay-be-gone camps but I definitely wouldn't be letting him engage in gay sex in my home or watch gay porn. Ther has to be some level of discipline.

I haven't seen my parents since I was five so I don't know what they would have let me do. My aunt let me run wild as a teenager though and I regret it now.

The phrasing of the question is pretty despicable.

I'd just tell him/her about all the many amazing people that have had alternate sexualities and how that hasn't held them back.  (Most recently an old hero of mine, James Randi, who came out last week)

Just an FYI but I am not a homophobe as I said I wouldn't disown my kid but I would not let gay anal sex take place under my roof. Also it's just like preventing any other sin. I wouldn't want my son to steal either. I have already posted in Devilman's thread about how one can be gay and still try to maintain a Christian integrity.

Being gay is an identity, not an action.  Your kid doesn't stop being gay if he's celibate.  Hence, the question, "Would you let your kid be gay" is about on the same level as "Would you let your kid be deaf."
