There are a zillion nitpicks I have with the map, but two of the biggest:

How'd Roosevelt win VT...?

Not only do the Dakota's vote differently, but 60% so!

In 1941 President Taft announces Poland has surrendered WWII is over. Cheers throughout the country erupt. In 1941 President Taft announces we will figt for world peace.

In 1942 however President Taft went to Europe to decrease war chances. During the trip he becomes very ill and comes home. He resigns the Presidency, Calvin Coolidge is sworn in as the nations 34th President. During his term taxes have never been this stable and the Economy is in a massive surplus.

In 1944 President Coolidge will seek a full term Thomas Dewey FDR and Herbert Hoover all enter the race. Election 1944:

In 1961 Ronald Reagan was sworn in as President, President Reagan is immediately popular among Independents and Republicans. Richard Nixon becomes Secretary of State. Vietnam declares war on China US declares it would not intervene.

In 1962 Richard Nixon is killed on a trip to Vietnam by communists President Reagan appoints Gerald Ford to replace Nixon. Gerald Ford travels to Mexico and China on diplomacy. President Reagan is popular among Democrats Republicans and Independents.

In 1963 Ronald Reagan announced he would run for a second term, as did George Bush, Gerald Ford, John Conally. On November 22nd 1963 President Reagan is shot and killed in Dallas. Vietnam-China war becoming more violent. President Rockefeller announces he will not run for a full term.

In 1964 George Bush nominated for President and Gerald Ford for VP, Democrats John Connally President Hurbert Humphrey VP.
