Welcome to the new Department of Justice!

In my last stint as AG I dedicated the DoJ to our earliest Chief Justice, migrendel. Unfortunately, that wing of the building has been sold to make way for a trendy wine bar. The newly constructed wing of the building is named for the longest serving Attorney General in our history and one of only two people to do the job more than once. Whilst I disagreed with him on political issues, his service was exceptional and we honour him today with this dedication.

My priorities for the term ahead:
*Comprehensive update of the statute on the Atlasia wiki
*Review of exisiting criminal justice legislation through a public consultation

Any questions, by all means, ask.

An update of sorts is needed I suppose:

1. The statute thread is in the process of being updated. The 37th Senate is completely up to date, but there are still gaps in the historical records for 34th-36th Senates. I have prioritised forum affairs statutes. Any help in filling in the gaps is greatly appreciated.

2. I thank the President for his re-nomination - whilst I know that under Jas v. Peter I am not required to be re-confirmed, I am happy to submit to a confirmation hearing.

3. I will be continuing with a Consolidated Criminal statute. I hope for it to be ready for the new session.
