The Mike Naso Memorial Building, home of the DoI.

The Department of the Interior is divided into several seperate Ministries, each of which handles a different aspect of the Department's work. At present they are:

The Ministry of Truth
The Ministry of Administrative Affairs
The Ministry of Social Policy
The Ministry of Questionable Accounting
The Ministry of Industry, Power, Transportation and the Environment
The Ministry of Urban Affairs

We are likely to increase the number of Ministries... we have so much free office space in the Naso building that the decision has been taken to use as much of it as possible.

Anyway, I'm likely to try testing the potential powers of the officer out tomorrow. Possibly over environmental regulation.

MATTHEW GILSON = DownWithTheLeft sometimes known as DownWithDaLeft sometimes known as DWDL. Search the forum, these boards especially. Quite a lot there, because Matthew Gilson (of Rutherford, NJ) is not a very nice person.

Hmmm...? I'm not sure if I understand your question. The point of the Ministry of Truth is quite obvious.

I suggest you transform at least parts of the Mike Naso Memorial Building into flats, as you seem to have plenty of free room...

I'm not entirely sure what the correct, formal procedure for this is (and will look it up in the morning - if there is one), but I would like to announce a significant change in government policy.

The Department of the Interior will not put a penny of central government money towards housing developments of any kind that are made up of over twenty houses and which do not take into account community facilities.

I'm issuing the follow guidance to the administration and staff at all federal prisons.

1. Armed lockdowns are to be instituted in all federal prisons (irrespective of security level) until the DoI orders otherwise.

2. Any member of staff at any federal prison who has aided in any riot in any federal prison must be suspended immediately and brought before an internal tribunal when the crisis has passed.

3. Any senior prison administrator or official who has failed to restore order with twenty four hours, or refuses to follow this order from the DoI will be immediately dismissed from their post by the DoI.

4. All federal prisons that saw a loss of control during the crisis will be investigated by the DoI when the crisis has passed.

Surely it's "under active consideration"?
