I'm a little confused by Lamont here, actually.  What's his schtick anyway?  In 2006, he was the anti-war Democrat...but to run for governor in 2010, is he going to run as the economic populist or what?

Uh, he lost one race in the general election. He still managed to oust a sitting U.S. Senator in a primary. I take the fact that he's actually leading in a Rasmussen poll (of all polls) as a pretty good sign.

The fact that Lieberman is still a sitting senator is a pretty good sign that losers can still win elected office, for what it's worth.

Add the fact that he's a millionaire rich boy in a populist environment, and he's toast.  Maybe that Susan Byciewiez bitch can beat him.

Susan will have a hard time beating him considering she dropped out and is now running for AG (despite being the frontrunner for the nomination).
