What stands out most is the swing to Ford in 1976. I wish that had been a national trend

Reagan had a huge drop in 1980 because Anderson did even better here than statewide (22.50%).

I wonder if those turnout percentages are unusual. They seem very high, but maybe small Northern towns are like that, and its the cities that bring the average down.
