Eisenhower picks Dewey for his VP instead of Nixon in 1952. In 1960 (after Eisenhower's second term), the Republicans nominate Dewey for President due to Ike's support. The Democrats still nominate JFK as in RL. This time, Dewey actively and energitically campaigns for the Presidency, and also campaign a lot with Eisenhower. Everything else stays the same. You pick the VPs. How would this election turn out? Discuss, with maps.

Vice President Thomas Dewey/Senator Richard Nixon             273
Senator John Kennedy/Senator Lyndon Johnson                    245
Unpledged Electors                                                            19

I'd give Dewey HI, NV, NM, MN, IL, and FL. I think that Eisenhower's campaigning for Dewey would be enough to flip those states for him, all of which were very narrow in 1960 in RL. Also, what do you think the PV would look like? I'd say Dewey-51.89%, JFK-47.31%.
