I'll say that the first woman president isn't a figure currently in US Politics, but I'd say that Hillary, Sandlin, and Ayotte (if she wins) both have fair chances at the presidency. I'd say that the first woman President will be elected at any time between 2020-2036.

Is she really that moderate though? I've never really got that impression.

I'm not sure what her actual positions are (or even if she has any yet, since AG is a nonpartisan job), but I read that she was trying very hard to portray herself as a typical New England moderate right now in order to help her get elected. I'm sure Teabaggers (and yes, they will be around in large numbers for a very long time) will remember this.
