What was the deal here?  Harrison wasn't even on the ballot, and Cleveland beat Weaver 85-13.  Seriously, what happened?

Cleveland only broke 80% in Florida, and was held under 60% in VA, NC, TN, GA, AL, AR, and TX.  Florida was a unique case, it seems.

I guess that the white Democratic racists were more successful using fear and intimidation in keeping blacks away from the polls in Florida than in other Southern states in 1892.

Republican party had such a weak party organization in Florida that it did not get listed on the state ballot.
