It's understandable that you wanted to speed the process along, and that's okay considering I've been unable to fully dedicate myself to this case in the last few days due to some family issues. Let's try not to make taking the initiative in the courtroom a regular thing though.

Although; I do have a question of my own. If you were genuine in trying to get your account back and that you meant no harm, why didn't you just create another account and contact someone to get it back, instead of waiting until you were discovered with a different personality?

Giovanni, if you all you have said is true, and you were having problems with your original account, why didn't you just e-mail Dave your problem and see if he could fix it? And then, why would you create a new account on Atlasia when you knew that it was against the rules to have two accounts on here?

Regarding Gov. Inks testimony about his attempts to contact you, both soon after your e-mail account was "bounced" from the Forum, and also when he attempted to PM you under your Farmer-Labor account:

1) Can you please detail the timeline (e.g. dates and number of PMs) of any communications between you and Inks? In particular, when did Inks send you the two PM's to "Farmer-Labour"? How long after those PM's was Farmer-Labor publically revealed (by Master Jedi) to really be you (Giovanni)?

2) Why did you not respond to Inks PM's to Farmer-Labour? Would you agree the apparent reluctance to respond would reasonably indicate to others that you believed you were caught doing something wrong/illegal?

Sorry for taking so long:

1). I had previously tried to contact Dave, but I could not find Dave's email address. I had posted on the Progressive Caucus for help, but nobody knew how to help me, so I registered another account initially to try and revive Giovanni, but I had the idea that it was not illegal to create a second account. After I registered and decided to done a new persona, I was able to contact Dave and he told me he would combine Farmer-Labour and Giovanni, and that's why I had the idea it would be no problem to register a "second" (what I percieved as first) account in the Atlasia Fantasy Game.

2). Inks had attempted to contact me a couple days before being caught.

3). I had figured that Dave had already fixed my accounts so I still wanted to be seen as my double Persona, and I figurred since Dave was already merging my accounts, there would be no problems in not responding. This was the wrong thing to do, and I apologize to Inks for that.

Alternatively, should the Court prefer, I would also be prepared, in the interest of everyone involved, that we recess until the day after Christmas. Would any party object to that?

Dave had told me he was merging Giovanni and Farmer-Labour, so I had figured it wouldn't matter if I registered, and it would almost be treated like a move. If I had known Giovanni could be salvaged, I would not have acted like my Quasi-Socialist persona.

Dave told you he was merging your account yet you then justify your actions by saying you only did what you did because you did not think your old account could be salvaged-- this is highly contradictory.

There is nothing illegal about acting like a different person. Since I had thought Giovanni had been inaccesible, I figured "Hey! Wouldn't it be cool to act like somebody else?" Nothing wrong about that.

Registering two accounts most certainly is illegal, as Atlasia v. Devilman88 shows. You're resting your entire case on the fact that you supposedly lost your password, so the fact that you registered your second account with a whole new identity most certainly is relevant.

You did not respond to Inks to protect your second identity. If you thought it was going to end soon, why so secretive? Because you knew you were breaking the law?

Why did you only admit to registering a second account after being exposed the moderators? Because you knew you were breaking the law and were trying to cover your tracks?

Why did you delete your second registration? Because you knew you were breaking the law and were trying to remove evidence?

I feel like I'm missing something here--If you merely changed e-mails and did not receive an e-mail confirmation, yet didn't lose your password (?), why couldn't you log in under your main account anyway? Wouldn't the password and account name be all you need?

I attempted to change my email address and I never got a confirmation email so I could confirm my account. I never lost my password, and when I tried to log in, it said that my account has not been approved.

That was not my intent, since Dave contacted me (ask him yourself) that he could bring back Giovanni, I removed that post so I could regain my then current party identification/state/etc. If that post had remained valid I would have made an undesirable move and an undesirable party switch.

1). I admit that not answering Inks' question was a wrong move. I still wanted to be known as Farmer-Labour, and since I thought Dave was clearing up the situation, I didn't think it would be a problem or a crime to act as somebody else. I did not not respond because I knew I was breaking the law (quite the contrary, I thought I was crystal clear). I sincerly apologize to Inks for this misunderstanding.

2). I admitted to being Giovanni because I knew the inevitable. I was actually surprised I was outed because I thought that Giovanni was already purged from the voting rolls and Farmer-Labour had already been inplaced in front of Giovanni. I was not intending to cover my tracks (however THAT would cover my tracks ponders me )

I said that because I felt very bad about deceiving the Forum, I have not studied Atlasian law well, so I am not sure what law I have broken if any. If the court does find me guilty of breaking a law that me and my counsel Franzl cannot challenge, I deserve whatever that punishment is.
