Evan Bayh-D has a so-called top tier GOP opponent- ex US Rep John Hostettler. lost re-election by a 61-39 margin in 2006 to Brad Ellsworth in the bloody IN-8. Bayh got over 60% of the popular vote in 1998 against Helmke, in 2004 against Scott. Bayh-D will destroy Hostettler.

I would have to settle for the lesser of two evils in Bayh.  But he sure isn't the one to carry the liberal mantle.
