Not necessarily in 2010, but someday in the foreseeable future. I say yes.

If the republicans win the presidency in 2012, John Boehner will be Speaker of the House.  Barring that scenario, no.

No. The Republicans won't gain control of the House in his time.

yes, Cantor or Pence seem more likely. AIPAC would certainly be influential and pulling for Cantor.

Not going to happen -if (as seems likely at this point) the GOP fails to take control of the House in an election year that couldn't be more favorable to them, he will be forced out of his leadership position.  This should clear the way for Mike Pence or Eric Cantor to take over.

Democrats have 258 seats- they need to lose 41 seats in order for John Boehner to be Speaker or House.
Democrats will pick up  Republican seats in
1)DE-AL(OPEN-Castle-R)- John Carney-D.
2)IL-10(OPEN-Kirk-R)- Dan Seals or Julie Hamos-D.
3)LA-2(Cao-R)
4)PA-6(OPEN-Gerlach-R)- Doug Pike-D.
That means Democrats have to lose 45 seats for John Boehner to be Speaker of House.
1)AL-2(Bright-D)
2)AL-5(Griffith-D)
3)FL-8(Grayson-D)
4)ID-1(Minnick-D)
5)LA-3(OPEN-Melancon-D)
6)MD-1(Kravitol-D)
7)MI-7(Schauer-D)
8)MS-1(Childers-D)
9)NH-2(OPEN-Hodes-D)- If it is a matchup between Bass vs Swett.
10)NM-2(Teague-D) vs Pearce-D
11)NY-20,NY-23,NY-24,and NY-29- will be GOP pickups if Paterson-D is the Democratic nominee for Governor.
12)OH-15(Kilroy-D)
13)VA-2(Nye-D)
14)VA-5(Perreillo-D).

I don't see Boehner holding onto to the Leadership position until at least 2015, so No.  The next Republican Speaker will probably be Mike Pence.

No, Republicans aren't taking the House in 2010, and probably not in 2012. I think that they'll take it in 2016, by which time it will be Pence or Cantor.

I don't even see him staying on as minority leader for too much longer, but that's just me.

Boehner will be luckily to remain leader of the Republicans. I except a challenge from Eric Cantor or Mike Pence.
