I joined this site about a year ago, but only started posting today (I initially joined because I'm a big election guy, and I wanted to read up more on Sharkey County, Mississippi's shocking 2004 results).

This is the first time I've heard about this, but I looked it up, and that is indeed weird. What did you find out about it?

I did the same thing and then looked in the archives of this site, and it's apparently a ballot design issue.
