I have absolutely no idea which thread to post this in, but does anyone else despise affluent suburbanites that listen to Garth Brooks, drive overpriced disgusting pickup trucks, and pretend to be cowboys/cowgirls even though they've never worked outdoors nor lived outside of a suburb in their lives? There's tons of these people in certain parts of Nebraska and I can't stand them.
I'm from America by the way, to answer this thread's question.
I tick off about half of those attributes:
✅Affluent suburbanite
✅Garth Brooks enjoyer
❌Drives overpriced truck - but I hope to do so one day
❌Pretends to be cowboy
✅Never had a job that involves outdoor work
✅Never lived outside of a suburb (though technically always in satellite towns)
✅Affluent suburbanite
❌Garth Brooks enjoyer
❌Drives overpriced truck (oversized but not overpriced - bought it used for a bit under 20k)
❌Pretends to be cowboy
❌Never had a job that involves outdoor work
❌Never lived outside of a suburb
✅Affluent suburbanite (kinda)
❌Garth Brooks enjoyer (I do listen to country music primarily, but don’t care for GB)
❌Drives overpriced truck (Chevy Silverado that I got for a good deal)
❌Pretends to be cowboy (I don’t think so? I do wear cowboy boots when I wear jeans, but don’t do the whole buckle or hat thing. I guess I drive a truck, wear boots, and listen to country music, but I wouldn’t consider that a weekend cowboy though. Just a typical southerner)
❌Never had a job that involves outdoor work (I hated it though haha)
❌Never lived outside of a suburb (lived in rural and city)
