2008: Supported Hillary during the primary and then Barack Obama in the general, and was the first election I remember. Was a HUGE disappointment that Prop 8 passed, but I was excited and inspired by Obama's victory.
2012: Supported Barack Obama and even phone banked for him, obviously. As a young gay Kid, it was HUGE to me that Obama came out in favor of Marriage Equality.
2016: Supported Bernie Sanders in the primary, and then strongly backed Hillary during the general.
2018: Supported Kate Brown for Governor (the countries first openly LGBT Governor!) and Sara Mcleod Skinner for House, who I knew wouldn't win.
2020: I’m pretty firmly behind Tulsi because of her foreign policy chops and I believe her message is so critically important. Would be more than satisfied with either her, Warren or Sanders though and will probably start donating to Sanders as well.
