Political orientation: More of a moderate progressive. The reason being for that is because most of my political views have come more into the mainstream since I started getting interested in politics. Back then if you openly supported same-sex marriage and won elected office, you had to have been from Massachusetts as that was the only place you'd have a shot at getting elected. I'm pro-choice and being from a small, blue-collar town, I'm pretty pro-union. I call myself a Democrat simply because Democrats align closest to my views and the Republicans right now are just insane. The main thing that makes me a liberal is the fact that I'm a pragmatist and that ideology has never solved a problem, created a job, or pulled anyone out of poverty. If you met me, you'd find that I'm pretty candid and I think that plays a bit into my political views, is that I tell it like it is.
